It was Senior Night on Friday at Reed Conder Gymnasium, all six Lady Marshal seniors in the scoring column in their 76-19 win over Paducah Tilghman. Seniors Cayson Conner, Maddie Darnall, Sophie Galloway, Presley Jezik, Gabbi Lovett and Layne Pea were recognized in a pre-game ceremony.
Tilghman jumped out to a 4-0 lead on two straight baskets by senior Natalie Warren before the Lady Marshals tied it on buckets by Conner and Lovett. A 19-2 run from the Lady Marshals followed and they finished out the first quarter with a 23-6 lead.
Holding Tilghman to three points in the second quarter, 25 from the Lady Marshals amassed a 48-9 halftime lead and they would wrap up the Senior Night win with a final of 76-19, out-scoring the Lady Tornados 28-10 in the second half.
The Lady Marshals points came from all 10 players, led by Conner and Galloway with 14 a piece, Jezik had 12 points and Driver with 10 to round out the top scorers.
Improving to 5-1 on the season, they will look for win number six at Ohio County (3-1) on Saturday in a 2:00 game.
