Superintendent Trent Lovett was out guest on Coffee Call

Marshall County Schools Superintendent Trent Lovett joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Lovett says the start of school for students will be Monday, January 11, almost a week later than the original date. Lovett says the extra week was decided in case of a surge in COVID-19 cases due to New Year’s celebrations. Meals will continue to be delivered next week and Lovett says he is proud of all school personnel and students for wearing masks and doing their part in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19. He said masks will be required when school resumes on January 11. Lovett says virtual learning may continue in some form for certain students even after the pandemic is over.
