Harold Ray York, 78, of Benton, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home.
Harold was born on March 29, 1942 in Benton, KY to the late Ones and Retha Adelle Jones York. He worked as a warehouse manager for Fleming Furniture for over 40 years. Harold loved the country life and working on the farm. He was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cheryl York of Benton, KY and Carla Lemmons (Richard) of Paragould, AR; his sister, Nita Newcomb of Benton, KY; his brother, Steve York of Benton, KY; two grandchildren, Jason Lemmons of Paragould, AR and Lauren Lemmons; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis LaRue Redden York; his sister, Brenda Hamlett; one great grandchild; and his parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Union Hill Cemetery with Bro. Josh Herndon officiating and Bro. Don McBrayer.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home.
