Mr. William Lee Myers, age 80, of Almo, Kentucky died at 6:58pm Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Mr. Myers was born June 18, 1940 in Paducah, Kentucky to the late George Holman Myers, Jr. and Lillie Mae Lampley Myers. He served his country in the United States Navy for over 22 years. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Grace Myers; brother, George Holman Myers, III; grandchildren, Michael Myers and Rachael Barnett.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Nicolls (Ben), Columbus, OH ; son, Gregory Myers (Paula), Paducah; four sisters, Janet Sue Housden (James), Symsonia, Carolyn Jean Myrick, Paducah, Magdalene Marie Merrow, Louisville, and Sondra Alderice, Paducah; two brothers, Larry Myers (Betty), Texas, and Wayne Myers (Wanda), West Paducah; grandchildren, Haley Myers, Murray, Matthew Myers, Paducah, Jessica Myers, Paducah, Houston Barnett, Louisville, and Sarah Barnett, Louisville; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.
A private burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
