Mr. Larry Robert Winstead, 69 of Benton, Kentucky died on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at 12:08 p.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Thursday, February 8, 1951 in Cumberland, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Paul Winstead and the late Evelyn White. He was the husband of Dixie Winstead, who survives.
Larry was a graduate of South Marshall High School Class of 1970 and was retired from General Tire and Rubber Company of Mayfield.
He was a member of Trace Creek Baptist Church, Benton Veterans of Foriegn Wars Post 1094 and Marshall County Elks Lodge No. 2707.
Also surviving are sons, Mr. Eric (Helen) Winstead of Paducah, KY and Mr. Larry Paul (Dora) Winstead of Sedalia, KY, daughter, Ms. Martha (Michael Taylor) Winstead of Farmington, KY, brother, Mr. Paul (Tonda) Winstead of Cartersville, GA, sisters, Mrs. Paulette (Roy) Henry of Kissimmee, FL and Mrs. Peggy (Jack) Adams of Lexington, KY.
Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Gary Winstead.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 at Marshall County Memory Gardens. Elder Robert Chandler will officiate. Interment will follow.
There will be no public visitation.
