Emory Lee Pence, age 75, of Grand Rivers, KY and formerly of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his home. Emory was a retired Indianapolis Firefighter and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of American Legion, NRA, a board member of Grand Rivers Chamber of Commerce and Past Commodore of the Commonwealth Yacht Club.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Theresa Sue Ritter Pence, Grand Rivers, KY; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Pence-Fagg & husband, John “Bob” Fagg, Cloverdale, IN and Jennifer Eileen Clarke & husband, William, Jr., Greenwood, IN; one brother, Charles Albert Pence, Webster, FL; nine grandchildren, Clayton Clarke, Noah Duby, William Clarke, III, Audrey Fagg, Suzannah Clarke, Caroline Clarke, George Clarke, Guthrey Fagg and Elaina Fagg; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Beulah Adair Hohn Pence.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date. Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Eddyville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
