FRANKFORT, Ky. (December 11, 2020) – The Senate Majority Caucus has announced its committee assignments for the 2021 General Assembly. Senator Danny Carroll (R-Paducah) will serve as chairman of the Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice and Judiciary.
He will also serve as the new vice-chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Judiciary.
“I am humbled and honored to have been appointed to these senate committee leadership positions for the 2021 Regular Session,” Senator Danny Carroll said. “We have many challenges on the road ahead of us, including impacts brought on by COVID-19. I believe the efforts we put forth during the interim, along with colleagues and stakeholders, has prepared us to face these challenges head-on and address Kentucky’s law enforcement and judicial needs. I’m looking forward to another busy but successful legislative session.”
The Senate Committee on Committees will officially confirm the new chairmanships upon starting the 2021 Regular Session.
