Mary “Carolyn” Barrett, 86, of Benton, KY passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her house.
Mary was born on September 22, 1934 in Sharpe, KY to the late Myron and Mary Robertson. Mary shared a lot of love throughout her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and loved to cook Sunday meals for her family. She always cared for everyone, and had a soft spot for animals, especially cats. Mary was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Roberts and husband Shane of Possum Trot, KY; two sons, Ronald Dale Barrett and wife Sherry of Benton, KY, James “Keith” Barrett and wife Jana of Benton, KY; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, E.B. Barrett; one sister, Norma Reed; and her parents.
Arrangements are being handled by Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Mary Barrett will be private.
