The MTG Insurance Player of the Game is #34 Talon Smothers. Smothers is a junior and plays a wide variety of positions for the Marshals including linebacker, defensive end, running back, tight end and kicker.
Along with his seven total tackles in the Marshals 35-25 win over Trigg County on Friday, Talon had one pass reception and did not miss a single extra point kick (5) following each of the Marshals touchdowns.
Talon has basically been playing football his whole life and has been a member of the high school team for three years.
