Betty Lou Carter, age 66, of Marshall County, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Mercy Health Paducah.
She was a previous member of River City Baptist Church and loved hanging out with her family whenever possible.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Angela (Terry) Harding of Melber, Jessica Baker of Brookport, IL; son, Michael Nelson of Paducah; three sisters, Sandra (Tommy) Fulks of Eddyville, Carolyn Lewis of Memphis, TN, Janie Rundle of Paducah; two brothers, Roger (Loraine) Carter of Paducah, Gary (Linda) Carter of Missouri; three grandchildren, Kyle (Christina) Harding, Karlee Baker, Justin Baker ;two great-grandchildren, Zoeigh Nelson, Brandon Spencer; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bertie Ovella Bowerman Carter; two sisters, Betty Bell Carter, Barbara Lyons; two brothers, Jerry Carter, David Carter; and grandson, Brandon Nelson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann of Milner and Orr Funeral Homes with Bro. Larry Logsdon officiating. Burial will follow in Barnett Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the funeral home.
