Mrs. Betty Jo Skaggs, age 87, of Hickory, KY passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.
She a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Skaggs is survived by her husband, Sonny Skaggs; two sons, James Clayton Skaggs of Metropolis, IL and Joel (Lisa) Skaggs of Lowes, KY; one brother, Jerry Dale Fox of Mayfield, KY; four grandchildren, Thad Skaggs, Shawn Skaggs, Allison Smith and Madison Skaggs; and three great grandchildren, Anthony Skaggs, Kaydance Skaggs and Lillian Smith.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Casey Skaggs; one sister, Martha Bruce; two brothers, Will Ed Bazzell and Wallace Fox; and her parents, Ed and Margaret Diviny Bazzell.
Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Jo Skaggs will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at North Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. C. W. Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow.
Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
