A “Land, Sea and Air” event will take place tomorrow (Sept. 5) in support of President Donald Trump. After hundreds of boaters gathered in June for a similar event, Saturday’s festivities is expected to draw an even larger crowd.

Organized by Republican Party members Scott Brown and Keith Travis, the day-long event begins with a land motorcade that will assemble at South Marshall Elementary at 8:30 a.m. and start rolling at 9:15 a.m. The motorcade will travel through Benton to Draffenville, then on to Kentucky Dam Village State Park.

The flotilla begins outside of the Moors Marina area and will head to Kentucky Dam Beach, Jetty at Lighthouse Landing, Hu-B’s, the Rock Quarry and end at Smith Bay.

During this time, an airplane will circle the Kentucky Dam area along with a helicopter and skydivers.

Organizers ask that all participants comply with CDC guidelines for COVID-19 and Marshall County Emergency agencies, in a joint effort, will be on call should their services be needed.

The Marshall County School System and marinas are not affiliated with this event.
