[BENTON, KENTUCKY, September 4th] As teachers and students return to the classroom, uncertainty remains. Going back to school looks a little different this year and requires more than ever before. The National Retail Federation Back-to-School 2020 survey found that parents are spending more on school supplies than they have in previous years, with families reportedly planning to spend an average of $789.49. Preparing kids to go back to school in normal circumstances can be stressful and current restrictions and requirements only increase that stress. Teachers are having to adjust to new and changing challenges daily and prepare for risks and lessons in new and creative ways.
TPM by United Systems has elected to make a donation of PPE and other supplies to local schools in
support of our local teachers and students as they begin the 2020 school year.
Jeff Harlan, TPM Network Services Manager “At TPM by United Systems, we are committed to
contributing to the quality of life and success of our community. We value education and the opportunities afforded to current and future generations by the teachers and staff of our local schools. We want to express our appreciation and gratitude to the teachers and staff that are working so hard to provide area children with a quality education.”
Schools and organizations throughout Western Kentucky that will directly benefit from TPM by United Systems’ donation:
• Marshall County High School
• Marshall County Exceptional Center
• McCracken County High School
• Paducah Tilghman High School
Donations were delivered Friday, September 9th, by TPM Business Development Manager, Jacob
Puckett, and Account Manager, Patsy Pierce.
