Willie Mae Honeycutt, 92

Mrs. Willie Mae “Billie” Brittain Dover Honeycutt, age 92, of Dickson, Tennessee, died Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Dickson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Honeycutt was born on January 17, 1928, in Viola, Arkansas to the late Johnny A. Brittain and Ell Viola Morris Brittain. She was a cake baker and a homemaker. Mrs. Honeycutt was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church in Hazel, Kentucky. She was a former member and historian of Kentucky First District Chiropractic Auxiliary and was the former co-president of Calloway County Band Boosters.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Dr. John Bert Dover and Emmitt Honeycutt; one granddaughter, Tara Chandler Robbins; three brothers, Wendell Brittain, Boyd O. Brittain, and Eddie Joe Brittain; as well as three sisters, Lewellen Caruthers, Lela Redd-Hailey, and Phyllis Jan Brown.

Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Ann Dover Crow and husband Kenny of Dickson, Tennessee; two sisters, Kitty Watkins and husband James of Sturkie, Arkansas, and Linda Bishop and husband Jerry of Salem, Arkansas; one sister-in-law, Opal Brittain of Kansas City, Missouri; one grandson Jason Robbins of Murray, Kentucky; as well as one great-grandson, Jacob Brodie Robbins of Murray, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at the Hazel Baptist Church with Bro. Jordan Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Hazel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

There will be an additional visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at the Hazel Baptist Church.
