Mary Lyonhurst, 64

Mary Lou Lyman Lyonhurst, age 64, of Hickory, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her residence.

Mary was born in Hickman County on April 17, 1956 to the late Charles and Rachel Jackson Lyman. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Hickory, Kentucky. Mary was a homemaker who kept a beautiful home. She loved flowers and spending time gardening and caring for her yard. Above all, Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Mary is survived by her husband of 18 years, Donald L. Lyonhurst of Hickory; two daughters, Tina Marie Wilmurth of Fulton and Amanda Kay Walker and husband, Gary of Clinton; two step-sons, Rodney Lincoln Lyonhurst and wife, Sandy and Keith Lyonhurst, both of Nashville; four sisters, Kathleen Marie Grubbs and husband, Randy of Clinton, Betty Sue Green of Mayfield, Brenda Kay Terry of Bardwell and Patricia Lyman of Clinton; eight brothers, Robert Lyman, Kevin Lyman, John Lyman, Jerry Lyman, Gary Lyman and partner, Betty, Charles McDanel and wife, Mary Jane; all of Clinton, Lee Roy McDanel of Barlow and Mike Lyman of Mayfield; four grandchildren, Lexy Riddle, Cole McCoy, Gavin Walker and Tiffany Lyonhurst; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul McDanel, Raymond McDanel and Larry Gene Lyman; and her parents.

Funeral services for Mary will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Steve Cavitt officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Clinton.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service time of 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
