Murray State Associate Athletic Director Dave Winder joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. This will be an unusual fall at MSU, a fall without sports. Winder says players and coaches are adapting with the ability to practice as directed by officials with the Ohio Valley Conference. And then if everything goes as planned, the fall sports will be moved to the spring season and be played along with all the regular spring sports. As far as basketball, Winder says as of right now, the Murray State Racers are set to begin the season the first week in November. But he says everyone is waiting to see what direction comes down from the NCAA.
