
The Lady Marshals golf team earned their sixth tournament win of the year in the Bluegrass Invitational at Heritage Hill Golf Club in Shepherdsville. The team shot 306 to win by 21 strokes over second place Madison Central (327), a score that was 45 strokes better than last year at the same tournament.
Trinity Beth shot the low round for the Lady Marshals, finishing second at even par 72. Megan Hertter finished tied at 72 with Beth and finished third, Savannah Howell shot 76 for eighth place, Katie Roberts shot 86 and Elsie Riley shot 88.
Up next, the Lady Marshals will play a match at Mayfield on Sept. 1 before hosting, along with the Marshals, the Marshall County Invitational at Calvert City Country Club on Sept. 5.
