Mr. Charles Edwards, age 78 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was the owner of Charles Edwards Motor Sales and was a member of Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.
Born Monday, July 20, 1942 in Marshall County, KY, he was the son of the late Dawson and Velata Edwards.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Pat Edwards of Benton, KY, son, Jerry Pat Pendergrass, wife Jill of Murray, KY, brother, Bill Edwards, wife Irene of Benton, KY, and grandchild, Paige Madison Pendergrass.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tracy Glen Pendergrass.
A Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairdealing Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY 42025.
