Mark Costello, 52

Mark Anthony Costello, age 52, of Paducah, passed away at his home on Monday, August 3, 2020. Mark was born on March 3, 1968 in Detroit, MI and attended Livingston Central High School. He was a very artistic, self-employed entrepreneur in construction with great talent and vision. Mark was first mate on a towboat for several years and designed and constructed Talon Falls Scream Park. He was a Carpenter of Local 357 and also a Laborer of Local 1214.

Mark was a very loving, kind-hearted and easy going son, brother and father. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved reading, fishing, nature, biblical study, mythology and historical arts. He was baptized at Christian Fellowship Church in Benton KY where is also attended.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Stokes Costello, Paducah, KY; mother, Jane Carol Martin Travelstead, Eddyville, KY; father and stepmother, Mark Edward (Carolyn) Costello, Paducah, KY; two sons, Kameron Costello, Paducah, KY and Brock Costello, Murray, KY; one step daughter, Shannie (Josh) Burke, Eddyville, KY; two sisters, Shannon (Todd) Lucas, Gilbertsville, KY and Khourie Hresko, Grand Rivers, KY; one half sister, Angie Costello, Paducah, KY; five step brothers, Chris Wilson Paducah, KY; Brent (Tina) Wilson, Paducah, KY; Ricky (Kim) Travelstead, Grand Rivers, KY; David (Teresa) Travelstead, Ledbetter, KY; Timmy (Sara)Travelstead, Smithland, KY; one step sister, Christy (Brian) Moneymaker, Grand Rivers, KY; one step granddaughter, Kiecyn Hamilton, Eddyville, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Costello and step-father, Jackie Charles Travelstead.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, KY. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 9 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers, KY.
