Mr. Mark Rumfelt, age 60 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at his home. He retired from the US Air Force as Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and was active in large breed dog rescue.
Born Saturday, October 10, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of the late Joe Rumfelt and the late Kay (Eason) Rumfelt Shaw.
Surviving are his wife, Stephanie (Meiner) Rumfelt of Benton, KY, son, Chris Rumfelt of Union City, TN, step-father, James Shaw of HIckman, KY, step-daughter, Jessica Williams of Oklahoma City, OK, sisters, Connie Simmons of Edinburg, OH and Michelle O’Neal of Mayfield, KY, favorite uncle, David Eason of Nashville, TN, 2 grandchildren, and his faithful service dog, Marshall.
Services will be held at a later date.
