Mr. James “Jimmy” Goatley, age 85 of Fancy Farm, KY passed away Tuesday March 31, 2020 at the Mayfield Health and Rehab.
He was a retired farmer and member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm.
Mr. Goatley is survived by one son, Jay (Jane) Goatley of Lawrenceburg, KY; two daughters, Cindy (Dave) Futch and Mary Ethel (Jimbo) Seay both of Mayfield, KY; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Roberts Goatley; two daughters, Belinda Garland and Stephanie Goatley; three sisters, Dot Ivie, Betty Cash, and Martha Elliott; one brother, Algene Goatley; grandson, Troy Thompson; parents, Carl and Ruth Goatley.
A memorial graveside service for Mr. James “Jimmy” Goatley will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Jerome Cemetery. Father Darrell Venters will officiate. Interment will follow. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
