Shirley Hargrove, 82

Shirley Imogene Rollins Hargrove, age 82, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Shirley was born in Malden, Missouri on August 23, 1937 to the late Homer Knight and Beuna “Sally” Allen Knight Borders.

She married James Ray Rollins who preceded her in death in May 1974. She later married Adrian Howard Hargrove, who also preceded her in death on April 3, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Novella Knight Vaughn, and one brother, Charles D. Knight.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra McMillan (Rollins) of Memphis, Tennessee, Sharon Durbin (Rollins) of Paducah, Kentucky, and one son, David Rollins of Paducah, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Chelsea Rollins, Briana Rollins, and Daniel Durbin.

She was a homemaker, wife, and mother. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky. Shirley’s interests included painting, photography, singing, reading, cooking, and traveling. She loved her family, children, and grandchildren very much. Young at heart and strong in her faith, Shirley was always ready to help, counsel, and listen to anyone. Shirley was a beautiful, loving woman, loved dearly by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Brandt Lyon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Kuttawa Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
