Mrs. Phyllecia Sutherland Henson, age 82 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ faith.
Born Saturday, March 26, 1938 in Marshall Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sutherland and the late Hazel (Darnall) Sutherland.
Surviving are her husband of 65 yeras, Bobby Joel Henson of Benton, KY, sons, Jeffrey Clay Henson of Hearne, TX, Jon Mark Henson of Benton, KY and Joel Kelley Henson of Benton, KY, brothers, Kent Sutherland of Dallas, TX and David Sutherland of St. Paul, MN, grandchildren, Joshua Henson, Beth Henson, Jacob Henson, Rachel Henson Carnahan, Sarah Henson Jackson, Heather Henson Claiborne, Joseph Henson and great-grandchildren, Judah Claiborne, Roman Jackson, Lilly Kate Henson, Maddie Grace Henson, and Natalie Rose Henson.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Darnall Cemetery with John Sales officiating.
Interment will be in Darnall Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
