Ronald Brien, 71

Ronald Howard Brien, age 71, of La Vergne, Tennessee, previously of Calvert City, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Nashville General Hospital.

Ronald was born in Paducah on October 19, 1948 to the late Robert Howard Brien and Audrey Norris Brien. He grew up attending church at Little Cypress Baptist Church in Possum Trot before relocating to Tennessee. Ronald will be remembered as having an amazing work ethic, working for Bridgestone for over 20 years. Even though he worked hard, he still took time to enjoy life. Ronald loved to help others and minister to those who were in need.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Sandra Allen Brien of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Jenni Brien of Murfreesboro, TN and Anna Brien of Jackson, TN; two sons, Darrell Brien of Murfreesboro, TN and Aidan Brien of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Teresa Brien Duke and husband, Bobby of La Vergne, TN and Lynda Maxfield of Calvert City; one brother, Harold Brien and wife, Jayne of Nolensville, TN; one grandson, Austin Hidalgo and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joetta Hamilton Montgomery.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, a private family burial will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery in Benton. Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr is in charge of arrangements.
