Class of 2020 – Tori Ford

Tori Ford has competed for the Marshall County track and field team since her freshman year and like many of the track student-athletes, participated on the high school team while in middle school. She ranks third all-time for the MCHS girl’s track team in the 400 meters.

Tori has been a state qualifier in the 4 x 800 and 4 x 400 relays as well as the 400 meters. She was set to be a member of the 4 x 200 relay this season which had already come close to breaking the indoor school record. Last season, Tori made the All-Area 1 Second Team and Class 3A First Team in the 400 meters.

According to Head Coach Cory Westerfield, Tori is very versatile and consistent, often called upon  to compete in many different events when needed.

A dual-sport athlete, Tori was a key member of the Lady Marshals soccer team that won three straight regional championships. Her athleticism in both sports has led to scholarships to continue those careers at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn.
