Willie Kerns from Smartpath Technologies in Calvert City joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call. He says the use of technology is being used now more than ever because of the COVID-19 pandemic. School systems are using it and more and more people are working from home on their laptops. One thing Kerns says to watch out for are scam emails that want you to click on a link. He says to move your mouse over the link and it will show you where that link takes you and if it doesn’t look legitimate, don’t click on it. And he says passwords are very important and to not use the same one for all your accounts. He also suggests keeping a list that is locked up in a file cabinet or a safe deposit box.
