William E. “Bill” Futrell, 87 of Calvert City, KY died on Sunday, April 12, 2020, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. He was a veteran of the US Army and the US Marine Corps. He worked in construction and was a carpenter.
Born Thursday, December 8, 1932 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late William Futrell and the late Martha Avella (Boyd) Futrell.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Ricketts of Paducah, KY and Rhonda Locklear of Parkton, NC; brother, Leamon Futrell wife Shirley of Calvert City, KY; sister, Amanda Ming of Paducah, KY; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, William Edward Futrell, Jr., Jeffery Ivan Futrell; daughter, Sherry Jones; and 16 brothers and sisters.
In compliance with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the CDC’s health and public safety directives, the funeral services for Mr. William Futrell will be private.
