Mrs. Rheta Mae Harman, age 81 of Calvert City, KY passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Tuesday, January 31, 1939 in Anderson Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Hansford Irvin Bailey and the late Ruby Elmore (Huffman) Bailey Wilson. A Polio survivor, she worked many years as a Beautician at Johnny’s Barber Shop until her health forced her into retirement. She was a member of Calvert City Church of Christ, Calvet City, KY.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, George Jackson “Jack” Harman, Sr.; children, Rhonda Coursey, husband Mike of Benton, KY, George Jackson “George” Harman, Jr., wife Donna of Benton, KY, Genevieve Noles, husband Mike of Gilbertsville, KY; grandchildren, Andrea Davis, Blake Coursey, Leah Randolph, Jarrod Harman, Lindsey Noles; great-grandchildren, Bella Broadley, Maria Grace, Brooklyn Martin, Dylan Coursey, Jensen Randolph and Landry Coursey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Irvin Bailey.
In compliance with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the CDC’s health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Mrs.Harman will be private.
