Edward Dycus, 87, of Gilbertsville, KY passed away at 8:10 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020 at his residence.
Edward was born in Kuttawa, KY on December 7, 1932 to the late King and Lucille Green Dycus. Edward was a veteran of the United States Army, and he worked as an industrial worker for SKW in Calvert City, KY. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #167 in Lyon County, and the Ironworkers Local #492 in Nashville, TN.
He is survived by his wife, of 63 years, Rosalee Dycus; two daughters, Rhonda Robinette and husband Tim of Otwell, IN, and Kelly Culp of Benton, KY; his son, Rance Dycus and wife Edna of Calvert City, KY; two sisters, Yvonne Cobb and husband Jerry of Winter Park, FL, and Katie Stovall and husband Teddy of Kuttawa, KY; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
