Jennifer Brown with the Marshall County Health Department joined us again recently on Coffee Call with WCBL’s Cindy Riley. With the current coronavirus pandemic, news continues to change daily. Brown says that some people might say maybe we are taking measures that are too drastic, but she says the measures being taken now are meant to keep the situation from getting bad and that if nothing serious happens, then the measures implemented have been successful. She says to follow the rules that have been set, keep at least six feet away from one another and follow good hygiene. And stay away from groups and the sooner we all do these things the sooner we will get back to our normal lifestyle. Brown says the health department is open, but if you don’t need to come in right now, to please wait. She says they have taken extra precautions to help you stay safe when you come in, but the best choice is to stay home if you can.
