Murray State Athletics was the topic of discussion recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call. Aaron Clayton interviewed Associate Athletic Director Dave Winder. The Murray State Racers men’s basketball team made it all the way to the OVC championship game, only to lose to Belmont. But Winder said with all the injuries and adversity the team faced this year it was a great season. And in the OVC Commissioner’s Cup Race that includes all sports, the Racers are currently in second place behind SEMO. Winder says the university is working with state and federal officials on the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and official announcements would be coming from university president Bob Jackson.
