(BENTON, KY)-CFSB has donated $1000 in scholarship money to the Marshall County Exceptional Center’s (MCEC) Camp X, a tuition based summer day camp. Hosted by the MCEC, Camp X is designed for high school aged children with Intellectual Disability (ID) or Developmental Disability (DD). CFSB CEO-Elect Michael Radcliffe said, “We are honored to assist the Exceptional Center with Camp X. Summer childcare can be expensive and at times, limited. This donation is designed to offset some of the costs to the campers and their families.”
Marshall County Exceptional Center Executive Director Lindsey Walker remarked, “Camp X offers children with ID/DD a fun, safe and reputable place to learn and have fun over the summer! Parents will be able to drop campers off at MCEC side doors at 7:30 AM and pick them up by 3 PM.” Campers will enjoy activities at MCEC and in the community such as trips to Venture River, Vertical Jump, Cinemark, etc.
