WCBL welcomed 15 year old Paducah Tilghman sophomore Gloree Nell Wood to the Coffee Call studio recently, here pictured with Cindy Riley. Gloree Nell has been a member of the Paducah Symphony Children’s and Youth Choirs for five years and last year sang with Tilghman’s Choir at Carnegie Hall. In October of last year she was accepted into the International Honor Choir and will join singers from all around the world on the stage in Vienna, Austria June 25-July 1, 2020. As a fundraiser she will be having a “free to the public” classical concert at the First Presbyterian Church in Paducah on Saturday, March 21 at 7 pm. It’s a free concert but donations will be accepted.
