Mrs. Patty Jarrett, 79 of Benton passed away 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Stilley House in Benton. She was born May 18, 1940 in Steele, MO and was a graduate of Steele High School. Patty was a homemaker and a member of the Benton Church of Christ and the Lotus Pond Society of Paducah.
She is survived by two sons, Brian (Sonja) Jarrett of Gallatin, TN and Jason (Amber) Jarrett of Columbia, TN; two daughters, Lisa Jarrett of Louisville and Lori (Scott) Phillips, of Benton; seven grandchildren Brianne (Austin) Johnson, Britlyn (Matt) Duncan, Sydney Phillips, Maddy Jarrett, Dylan Phillips, Tyler Jarrett, and Daniel Jarrett; two great-grandchildren Jarrett Johnson and Brooks Johnson; and two brothers Jerry Howell and Mike Howell both of Jefferson City, MO.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Roger Jarrett; one sister, Ada Howell Howard; and one brother, Richard Howell. Her parents were Arnold and Ruth Lineberry Howell.
Services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Collier Funeral Chapel in Benton. Brian Jarrett, Austin Johnson, and Brent Lents will officiate. Interment will be in the Benton Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 and from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W. 5th St., Benton, KY.
