Doris Doty, age 87, of Benton, KY passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Doty was born in Holiday, IL on April 8, 1932 to the late Homer and Katie Fowler. She was married to the late Frederick E. Doty for sixty-one years. She was happiest when with her family and friends and traveling the country with Fred on their many adventures.
Doris is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Morgan (Tracy) of Benton and Maria Seidel (Allen) of Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Joshua Darnall, Robyn Stevenson, Jesse Darnall, Trey Seidel, Adam Seidel, Kristen Babakitis, and Megan Crim; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Doris loved her grandchildren and then when she was blessed with great-grandchildren she loved them more.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Doty; one son, Frederick W. Doty; her parents; six sisters and five brothers.
A private family memorial is scheduled for a later date.
