
MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University’s Summer Orientation sessions are open for fall 2020 incoming freshman and transfer students at murraystate.edu/summero. New Racers will have the opportunity to register for classes at these sessions, meet faculty, staff and students, receive their student ID card as well as meet fellow incoming students through a variety of special programs and activities. Additional programming will be offered for parents and family members.
To register for Summer Orientation, admitted students must log in to myGate, click on the “Academics” tab and look for the Summer Orientation link. Follow the step-by-step instructions for choosing your date and paying for your session.
The full Summer Orientation schedule is as follows:
Session 1 – Honors Orientation* – April 17
Session 2 – April 18
Session 3 – June 4
Session 4 – June 6
Session 5 – June 17
Session 6 – June 19
Session 7 – July 7
Session 8 – Late Registration – Aug. 6
*students must apply and be admitted into the Honors College to attend this session
