David G. Walker, age 78 of Kuttawa, died at 2:15 am Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at his home in Lyon County.He was a member of Kuttawa First Baptist Church, a US Navy Veteran and was preceded in death by his dad Claude Robert Walker.
Mr. Walker owned and operated, along with his wife Janet, a tropical fish hatchery and distribution business in Florida before moving to Lyon County. He also belonged to the Funtimers Fishing Club and the Lakeland Cruisers car club.
Survivors include his wife Janet Stanton Walker of Kuttawa, his mother Ethel Estella Clemen Walker of Kuttawa, one son Dennis Walker of Wiamauma, FL, one daughter Debbra Davis of Plant City, FL, one brother Bob Walker and wife Elfrieda of Bryan, OH, one sister Janice Ames of Broken Arrow, OK and three grandsons Phillip Davis, Devin Davis and Landen Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 24, 2020 at Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Carl Nelson officiating and burial will follow in Kuttawa Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 pm Thursday at Dunn’s.
