Robert S. Holloman, age 91, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home. He joined the Army at the age of 17 and quickly became a veteran after seven years of service. He loved his country and his family. Robert was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church and worked at Joiners Hardware for many years.
Robert is survived by his son, John Holloman and his wife Melinda of Princeton; one sister, Betty Ann Ray of Providence; five grandchildren, Todd Holloman and wife Adrian,… Brandy Holloman, Josh Flynn and wife Dottie, LeAnn Maloney and husband Kenny and Elaina Bond and husband James; and five great-grandchildren, Rebekah Maloney, Lauren Maloney, Sydney Bond, Jaylee Flynn and Jaxton Flynn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Caraway Holloman, his parents, Carl Holloman and Alma Green Holloman, one son, Robert “Bobby” Holloman and four brothers, Raymond Holloman, Carl Jr. Holloman, Roy Holloman and Harold Holloman.
Visitation will be held, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, January 31, 2020 at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 2:30pm with Bro. Wayne Glass officiating. Burial to follow at Morse cemetery with military honors in Caldwell County.
