Steve Boren, 59, of Hopkinsville passed away at St Thomas West of Nashville, TN on Monday January 20, 2020. Steve was a home builder and owner of Crossroads Construction. Steve was an elder and servant at Christ Tabernacle in Princeton. He loved showing people Christ wherever he was and ministry was his passion. Steve taught a bible study at the Christian County Jail. He led the recovery program, Freedom 4:18, at Christ Tabernacle.
Steve was survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa A.… Boren; son, Wes Boren of Hopkinsville, KY; father, James “Jim” Boren of Cadiz, KY; and two brothers, David and wife Beth of Cadiz, KY and John Boren of Owensboro, KY; several nieces and nephews, cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother June Mitchell Boren.
Visitation for Steve will be held at Christ Tabernacle in Princeton on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Christ Tabernacle in Princeton on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Troy Jent officiating.
Burial to follow at Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton KY at 3:00 p.m.
