Lawrence “Larry” Dossey, age 95 of Grand Rivers, KY, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his home. He was a member of Lake City Baptist Church, a Mason and a Shriner. He was a retired welding supervisor and inspector in the construction industry and a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Wilson, Grand Rivers, KY; one son, Bruce Dossey & wife, Tina, Palestine, IL; five grandchildren and twelve great grand children.
Mr. Dossey was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hightower Dossey, his parents, Hubert and Marie Bailey Dossey, one daughter, Barbara Jean Dossey, one brother, Dale Dossey and one great grandson.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 12 Noon to 1:00 pm at Lake City Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at the church at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, with Rev. Mac Walls officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
