James C. “Jimmy” Campbell, age 67, of Kuttawa, KY passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. He was a member of Kuttawa United Methodist Church, a former Lyon County Circuit Court Clerk for twenty seven and a half years, a former Lyon County Judge Executive for four years and current Mayor of City of Kuttawa.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Barbara McPherson Campbell, Kuttawa, KY; one daughter, Lori Yates & husband,… Jordan, Kuttawa, KY, one sister, Jane Brindley & husband, Albert, Kuttawa, KY; two grandchildren, Dylan Yates and Emily Yates, seven nephews and seven nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Duke Campbell and Mary Evelyn Travis Campbell; one son, Chris Campbell and one sister, Rebekah Amos.
Visitation will be Monday, December 16, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Eddyville and on Tuesday, December 17, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Kuttawa United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 17, at 12 Noon at the church with Rev. Chuck Ladd and Justice Bill Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Doom Chapel Cemetery in Lyon County.
