Mrs. Hazel Mae Holderby, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, December 02, 2019, at Spring Creek Healthcare Facility in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Holderby was born in Calloway County, Kentucky, on September 19, 1936, to the late Toy Garland and Eula Mae (Boggess) Garland. Mrs. Holderby retired from Kroger in Murray and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holderby was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Holderby; one daughter, Kathy Carol McKeel; granddaughter, Jamie Autumn McKeel; two brothers, Troy and Roy Garland; five sisters, Eva Scott, Dorothy Hutchens, Elaine Etherton, Judy Garland, and Jean Humphreys.
Mrs. Holderby is survived by two sons, Mickey McKeel and wife Jan of Columbia, Tennessee and Allen McKeel and wife Jan of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Lottie Garland and Joyce Vance and husband Tommy all of Murray, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Jimmie Garland of Hazel, Kentucky; one brother, Paul Garland and wife Vickie of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Curry McKeel of Clarksville, Tennessee, Katie McKeel of Nashville, Tennessee, Jeremy McKeel and Josh McKeel both of Murray, Kentucky; as well as five great-grandchildren, Keeli, Kyler, Jacee, Katee, and Baylee McKeel all of Murray ,Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Rev. Sammy Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Friday, December 6, 2019, from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
