Judith Lee Davis Davenport, age 76 of West Paducah, KY passed away at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Mercy Health Lourdes. Judy was a member of Bethel Christian Church and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Judy wore many hats in her life, as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her younger years she was a School Bus Driver, Brownie Troop Leader, Church Nursery Worker, Youth Group Leader and Band Booster parent. She was a proud 16 year BreastCancer Survivor. Judy was an avid gardener and could bring life to most any plant. She was co-owner of three successful Paducah businesses, Farmers Farmacy, Big 3 Wholesale Farm Supply and The Florida Garden Center.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wilford Davenport; one son, Lynn (Marylee) Davenport of Bowling Green, KY; two daughters, Tara (Richard) Montgomery of West Paducah and Cari (Stanley) Wildharber of Barlow, KY; one sister, Dianne (Ken) Carroll of St. Petersburg, FL; 12 Grandchildren, Elizabeth Davenport, Derek Davenport, Canaan (Rebecca) Montgomery, Emily (Perry) Snowden, Will (Paige) Montgomery, Connor Darland, Delaney Darland, Allie (Ross) Williams, Ryan Wildharber, Kathleen Smith, Brittany Smith and Nicholas Smith; three great-grandchildren, Eli Montgomery, Harper Snowden and Baby Montgomery who are due in spring 2020; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding in death was her parents, Jimmie & Virginia Davis.
Services will be held Wednesday, Novmber 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Nate Hillebrand officiating, Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery on Gholson Road in West Paducah. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
