Mrs. Glenda Nell Mason Garland, age 84 of Sedalia, KY passed away Saturday November 2, 2019 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.
She was; Co-Founder of Garland Siding and Windows; Member of Antioch Church of Christ; Baker of treats for youth groups at the Church; a seamstress; farmer; piano teacher; and most of all a loving mother, grandmother and wife.
Mrs. Garland is survived by two sons, Tim (Nancy) Garland of Mayfield, KY and Jason (Vanessa) Garland of Farmington, KY; one daughter, Jennifer Garland (John) Gream of Mayfield, KY; one nephew, Keith Mason of Farmington, KY; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse David “J.D.” Garland; one daughter, Cindy Garland McGill; one brother, Jerry Mason; and her parents Rexie and Ophie Green Mason.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00AM Tuesday November 5, 2019 at the Antioch Church of Christ in Farmington, KY. Al Colley, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery. Chris Garland, Nathan Garland, Russ Garland, Aaron McGill, Kurt Thomason, Alex Gonzalez, and Mark Garland will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Monday November 4, 2019 at the Antioch Church of Christ Church, and from 9-11AM Tuesday at the Church. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY is in charge of arrangements.
