Christmas in the Park, brought to you by Jackson Purchase Energy and Marshall County Parks

“We are very excited to partner with JPEC to make our annual Christmas in the Park Light Show bigger and better than ever. It is partnerships like this that make it possible for us to grow and offer even more to the people across the area to enhance their holiday experience. We look forward to the future of this event and this partnership as we work together to serve our communities.” – Marshall County Parks Department Director, Britney Heath.

Scott Adair, VP of Human Resources and Communications says “What a privilege to be involved with one of the largest Christmas Light shows in Western KY. This is a great opportunity to assist multiple non-profits that are doing great things in our communities. Being involved in events like this, helps to reveal who we are as your electric cooperative, we are part of the communities we serve and we want to see those areas thrive.”

The event in the past has brought in over $50,000 in donations in addition to the canned goods that are donated. Donations of canned goods and monetary donations are accepted but are not required. The light show begins on Friday, November 29th and runs through Tuesday December 31st. The show begins at dusk each night and runs until 10:00 PM. This year, the following nonprofits will benefit from donations collected at the light show: Marcella’s Kitchen, Marshall County Exceptional Center, HOPE Clinic, Marshall County Special Olympics, Marshall County Ramp Ministries, Marshall County Caring Needline, Marshall County Rescue Squad, Marshall County Veterans Support Group, and the Marshall County Rotary Club. Canned good donations will be split between Marcella’s Kitchen and Needline.
