Mrs. Brenda Housden, age 67 of Benton, KY died on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at her home. She was a Nurse’s Aide for Lakeway Nursing and Rehabilitation and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Born Wednesday, November 20, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James L. Nanney and the late Lorene (Ross) Nanney.
Surviving are sons, Mike Jones, wife Nica of Gilbertsville, KY and Billy Housden of Paducah, KY, daughter, Mitzi Burkeen, husband David of Benton, KY, brother, Donald Wayne Nanney, wife Patty of Benton, KY, sister, Caroline Dowdy of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Whitney Riley, husband Jay of Benton, KY, Austin Burkeen, wife Courtney of Calvert City, KY, Tristin Burkeen of Calvert City, KY, Gage Jones of Benton, KY, Nathan Jones of Gilbertsville, KY, and great-grandchildren, Bentley Eakes and Emerson Eakes of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willie Housden.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bro. Joel Frizzell officiating.
Interment will follow in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
