Betty JoAnn Curry, 91 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at her residence. She was a homemaker and attended St. Henry’s Catholic Church. She was also a member of the VFW 1084 Ladies Auxiliary and the Moose Fraternal Organization.
Born Monday, October 1, 1928 in Cook County, IL, she was the daughter of the late John Hayworth and the late Eva (Mills) Hayworth. She was the wife of the late Ean Edgar Curry.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Curry of IN, Harry M. Curry of Benton, KY; daughters, Michelle Woodcock of Benton, KY, Nancy A. Curry of Alsip, IL, Linda M. Cox of Cleveland, TN; brother, Robert Hayworth of IN; sister, Phyllis J. Moore of AZ; 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Thomas D. Curry, Charles J. Curry, Michael S. Curry; brothers, Paul Hayworth, John R. Hayworth; and sister, Juanita Baron.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 14, 2019 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, located at 16097 HWY 68E, Aurora, KY with the Father Eugene Batungbacal officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, October 14, 2019, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
