Connie Rea Best, 81, of Paducah died at 12:12 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Countryside Center in Bardwell, KY.
Connie was a retired Patient Advocate for The University of Kentucky and a member of the original Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church in Marshall County.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin D. Campbell of Sharpe, Mark Campbell of Paducah; three daughters, Nicki Jenkins of Homosassa, FL, Robin Crawford of Edgewood, KY, Rhonda Morgan of Paducah; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy J. Gillihan and Lorena Draffen Gillihan; husband, Richard Charles Best Jr.; one son, Steve Best; one grandson, Draffen Charles Dykes; two brothers.
Graveside services will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Fooks Cemetery in Possum Trot with Mike Pittman officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah.
