Mr. John Reid Webster, 90 of Calvert City, KY passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at the Calvert City Convalescent Center in Calvert City, KY. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Calvert United Methodist Church. He retired after 34 years at Pennwalt Chemical Plant. He was active in the Calvert City community and served 26 years on the Public Utility Board.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Solomon) Webster; son, Greg and wife Cheri; daughter, Leta; step-son, Cliff Grizzard and wife Amy; step-daughter, Teresa Jones and husband Rob; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Fruit) Webster, his father, Roy E. Webster, his mother, Mary (Merry) Webster, and his brother, Roy Webster.
A private burial will be held at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
There will be no public visitation.
