Mrs. Laurel Anola Phillips, age 80 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at her home. She was retired from the Bank of Benton and sold insurance for Horace Mann.
Born Saturday, November 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank William “F.W.” Gould and the late Anna Lovena (Corzine) Gould.
Surviving are son, Dr. Joe Phillips, wife Tamara of Murray, KY, daughters, Lori Anne Singleton, husband Mark of Corinth, MS, Amy Guess, husband Robert of Benton, KY, 3 grandchildren, Chris Phillips, Brady Guess and Olivia Guess, and sisters, Frances Futrell of Pocahontas, AR and Joan Moore of Hamilton, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James William “Jim” Phillips and son, James Gould “Jimmy” Phillips.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens in Benton, KY.
Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St, Benton, KY 42025.
